txtfiles book

made for my third year book design class - a collection of textfiles (source: textfiles.com). i tried to convey things i considered interesting about the 'format' of a textfile into a physical book. there is an extended 'cover' that serves as an introduction to the history of BBSes, as well as differentiating the only 'non-primary source' in the book. the fluorescent markings were an attempt to evoke the spirit of unrestricted editing, and to 'light up' in front of a blue computer screen. i think some parts of this book worked out okay.
